It was party time for Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan! After Godh Bharai was over at Jalsa on Tuesday afternoon, the couple headed to the designer-duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla’s place for a small private party.

The party was especially held for Aishwarya and as Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are like family to the Bachchans, Ash-Abhi couldn’t say no to the invitation. It was a small private baby shower party attended only by the close friends. In fact, some of the guests from the earlier party at Jalsa were also seen at the bash.

Designer Sandeep Khosla tells a tabloid about the party, “It’s so wonderful. But we would rather not talk about the party in the evening because it was a very private affair.” Some of the dishes in the party were South Indian as per Aishwarya’s tastes.

For the first time during her pregnancy, it’s heard that Aishwarya attended a party. The guests blessed the soon-to-be mom while the excited hubby looked on from a distance. As Ash had to leave early, the party wrapped up soon and went only till 10 pm.

Aishwarya is due in November which is also the month of her birth.
